Temporary Assignment – 18 monthsJob PurposeAn Post HR is setting out to be a world class and future looking team, delivering a winning employer brand, providing leadership in shaping the business and enabling an excellent employee experience for all in An Post. To achieve these objectives HR are undergoing a major transformational project which includes the introduction of a new Oracle HCM platform encompassing modules such as Talent and Performance, Learn, Recruit, Help Desk, Health & Safety and Comp & Bens with Project Functional Leads responsible for each.Reporting to the Training Lead/Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for the creation of impactful training and eLearning content as part of the HR Transformation. This will include user guides, collateral and support materials for the HR function and the wider organisation. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of best in class training solutions to support HR and Organisational capabilities in the transition to new ways of working and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities associated with the role include, but are not limited to:Partnering with the change project team and internal functional leads in HR and across the organisation to effectively diagnose training and development needs. Influencing Senior Managers to move into the model and prioritise training delivery on new platform out of classroom, advising and counselling business leaders on best practice in this space – building the business case.Developing and delivering learning interventions to address HR, employee, and business capability gaps. This includes retail, commerce and corporate centre (org wide) training needs, not just the HR Transformation.Facilitating, coordinating, evaluating and reporting on the impact of training programmes as identified as part of the HR transformation.Apply tested and best practice instructional design theories, practices, and methods to develop learning interventions and solutions.Propose and implement approaches to measuring learner and organisation impact of learning interventions.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and learners, understanding priorities, and listening to the voice of the customer to ensure training content is effective and impactful.Leverage new technologies and innovative strategies to increase the efficiency, delivery and scalability of learning interventions keeping abreast of external developments.Supporting the development and ongoing implementation of the new Oracle LMS across the business at Senior Management level and below.Demonstrating An Post actions and behaviours in your day to day work and addressing behaviour that supports/conflicts with them.Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have at least 3 years-experience working within a Learning and Development or HR environment. Experience developing and creating training content and collateral across a broad spectrum of business and organisational capabilities, utilising best in class content development techniques and tools is key. A third level qualification in L&D or instructional design is desirable. You will have a professional interest in how new developments in AI can be used in content development. You will have excellent Learning Design, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and administration skills and be comfortable accurately recording, validating and analysing data.Curiosity, flexibility and enthusiasm for new developments and work practices by striving, and encouraging others, to implement changes effectively is key. You constantly refresh knowledge about latest learning and development tools and practices and continuously seek to develop at a personal level.
