iMultiply are partnering with a global manufacturing business requiring a Finance Assistant for their office based in Glasgow for a 12 month maternity cover with an immediate start.The CompanyThe business aim to be a leader within the industry through focusing on on innovation, quality and reliability as well as outstanding customer service.The RoleThis company is looking to hire a Finance Assistant to add value to the finance team whilst also developing and progressing their own accounting skillset over a 12 month period.ResponsibilitiesProcessing purchase and sales ledger invoicesProcessing payment runsAssisting with the reconciliation of supplier statementsProcessing bank transactonsManaging purchase ordersAssisting with sales ledger invoicing and credit controlProcessing month end journals to assist with month end reporting functionTo be considered for this opportunity, you must display the following attributes:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others
- Relevant experience in this or a similar role
- Experience with purchase ledger and sales ledger management
- Ability to understand, question, organise and challenge a range of financial data
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Highly organised with diligent and acute attention to detail
