Job descriptionPart time Science teacher required, 3 days a week, (0.6) for the rest of the academic year.Prospero are working with a school in Tameside who are looking for a temporary science teacher, to teach three days a week on a job-share. The role will require you to teach all 3 Sciences to mixed ability classes in Key Stages 3 & 4, it will start ASAP to continue until July 2022. • Location – Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside
• Position – Science Teacher (Monday/Thursday/Friday)
• Start Date – ASAP
• Likely Duration – July 2022
• Contract Type – Long-Term
• Full-Time/Part-Time – Part-Time
• Minimum rate of pay – From £130-£180 per day
• Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm (full day)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Recent experience teaching Science in a UK school
• Capable of teaching all 3 Sciences
• Innovative and creative teaching strategies and lessons
• Aim to strive towards good and outstanding standards
• UK Driving Licence desirable due to location

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £45.80
• Provide two professional references
