Job description
This role is pivotal in supporting the SEO to develop and implement robust change management strategies.Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and execute activities to establish fully operational SPS Facilities.
- Collaborate with key user groups to define and implement a Go-Live plan for port readiness.
- Implement process improvements throughout the trader journey.
- Lead stakeholder engagement by chairing meetings and working groups.
- Support key user groups through the transition process.
- Develop transition and customer handover plans through engagement with the project team and stakeholders.
- Provide advice on changing processes through awareness sessions and written briefing updates.
- Coordinate and develop relevant training plans for site users in collaboration with business areas.
Experience:
- Project Management/Change Management experience is essential.
- Experience supporting colleagues and stakeholders through significant change/transition.
- A formal change management certification is beneficial but not essential.
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Leadership skills to motivate and manage staff effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in preparing project documentation and delivering presentations.
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute positively to team success.
- One or more related qualifications such as PRINCE2 is preferred but not essential.
Additional Requirements:
As the role involves travel on official duty, the successful candidate must have access to transportation enabling them to fulfil responsibilities, including travel to remote and rural locations in Northern Ireland.
