Support Worker | Templemore Supported Living Service Job descriptionWhat’s the Role: Support WorkerWhat It Takes:An important part of the staff role is to provide support to our individuals who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.Our dedicated staff team support individuals to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our individuals with day to day life.Where You Would Work: Templemore Supported Living ServiceWe have an exciting new opportunity for a pool of Support Workers in Templemore Supported Living based in Derry/Londonderry. Our support/care is person-centred and shaped around the individual. The service we provide is for adults who live in their own home across the Derry/Londonderry area. This opportunity will include a rota across day and night shifts.
