If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!We are seeking a dynamic Sport Graduate to join our team at Veritas Education supporting Secondary Schools across Barnsley. As a Sport Graduate, you will play a pivotal role in promoting physical activity, teamwork, and personal development among our students.Responsibilities: * Delivering engaging sports sessions tailored to different age groups and abilities.
- Assisting in the planning and organization of sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.
- Providing support to classroom teachers in integrating physical activity into the curriculum.
- Acting as a positive role model for students, promoting sportsmanship, respect, and fair play.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of sports programs and initiatives.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to enhance the overall school sports experience.
Requirements: * A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Passion for working with children and young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience in coaching or leading sports activities (desired but not essential).
- Willingness to undergo relevant safeguarding checks.
