Head of Year – KS5September 2024 startMain / Upper ScaleTLR2d £7,847 per annumSydenham School is seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious and talented Head of Year for KS5 to join our vibrant and wonderful school community.Sydenham School is part of the SFH6 Sixth Form which operates in a partnership with Forest Hill School. The two schools work closely together for 6^th form and the work of the HOY involves liaising regularly with Forest Hill Sixth Form.As the leader of a year group and team of tutors, the role of Head of Year is of crucial importance here at Sydenham. Our team of HOYs are responsible for ensuring consistently high expectations across all of our year groups, so that ambition, determination and respect permeate all aspects of the school. The role of HOY includes overall responsibility for the academic progress, behaviour for learning and social and emotional well-being of all students in a year group.We believe that all of our students are capable of performing highly.
