If so, Tradewind Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for you!Tradewind is currently seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant for a lovely secondary school in Altrincham!Position: Learning Support AssistantLocation: AltrinchamContract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to PermanentPay: £85 – £100 per dayAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students at KS3, KS4, and those with special educational needs (SEN). Your responsibilities will include:
- Offering personalised one-to-one support to address individual learning needs
- Assisting teaching staff in delivering high-quality education and collaborate with teachers to deliver small group instruction
- Cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting students’ emotional and social development
Requirements:
- Child-based work experience, Learning support assistant or teaching assistant experience is desirable
- Experience supporting students with SEND
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong UK Curriculum knowledge
- Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
- Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and Professional references checks
- Full CV history with all employment and education included
