Position – Qualified Science TeacherLocation – MaidstoneContact Type – Full Time PermanentTradewind Recruitment are working with an excellent comprehensive school in the Maidstone area who are seeking a qualified Science Teacher for a permanent position in September – full time. The salary will be MPS/UPS depending on experience.The role:

• Plan and deliver creative lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
• Regularly assess and support students to ensure they are reaching their full potential
• Encourage a positive learning environment to ensure all students are engaged and participating
• Attend meetings and regular CPD to develop and share best practices across the Science Department and the wider school.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential – both experienced and ECT’s are welcomed
• Passionate, have strong subject knowledge and proven experience of teaching Science within a secondary school environment
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
