The English department delivers at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, enjoying considerable success and strong progress over time. In support of the work of the department, there is a dedicated literacy scheme, staffed by specialists and there is a network commitment to developing reading for young people which creates a strong climate in which teachers of English can flourish.
