Job descriptionA compassionate and reliable learning support assistant is required for a small, friendly primary school in Bolton. This is a full-time role for next academic year, starting in September.This Learning Support Assistant role will be based in Key Stage 1 and will involve supporting groups of children, at all ability levels, with learning activities, and will also involve delivering interventions to children with additional needs.You will need to have experience in a Learning Support Assistant role and to have good understanding of the curriculum and expectations for Key Stage 1.The Learning Support Assistant is required from the start of autumn term and until the end of the school year. There is potential for the role to become a permanent position in school.Essential requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant qualification and experience
  • Professional references covering the last two full years
  • Experience working in a UK Primary School
