Miriam Shiell Fine Art is looking for a self-starter individual who is able to work independently, has strong computer skills, and an aptitude for administrative work.Tasks within the role include but are not limited to:– Inventory Cataloguing and Management
– Coordinate Local, national, and international shipping
– Prepare invoices, statements, consignment notes, proforma, export documents
– Bank Wire Transactions
– Create monthly newsletters
– Photography work
– Social mediaA large portion of the role includes inventory management and shipping artwork both in Canada and Internationally.Being a private art gallery, the nature of the business and role requires the utmost confidentiality from the successful applicant. The role is in person, full time, from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30 – 5:00pm.The gallery closes for 2 weeks in the Summer and Winter. Salary expectations can be discussed at time of interview.
