Job descriptionEBD/SEN Teaching AssistantProspero Teaching is looking for an experienced, motivated, and resilient Teaching Assistant to support students in a Primary Mainstream school in Blackpool.
Although the school is a mainstream primary, there are a large number of children with EHCPs requiring 1:1 support.
Located in FY1, the school is easily accessed by public transport and has onsite parking available.
The position is open to all those experienced who have a background in youth work, sports coaching, support work, challenging behaviour, SEN or have any other experience of mentoring children. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

· Rate of pay – GBP95-GBP110 per day
· Hours – 08:45 – 16:00 : Mon – Fri (term time only)EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience with SEN children and challenging behaviour.
· LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant/or equivalent and above is preferable.
· GCSE Maths and English and Computer literate.
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year.TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at the cost of GBP45.80
