This role involves coordinating with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to ensure that the PPAP documentation and requirements are completed accurately and on time. PPAP Coordinator will be responsible for Inspecting and matching drawing specifications to product specifications Support Siemens plant quality teams with supplier PPAP loads Moonshot, Vanguard, ETC. Developing suppliers on Siemens requirements.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:PPAP Management:
- Coordinate and manage the PPAP submission process for new and existing parts.
- Ensure all PPAP documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within the required timeframe.
- Review and approve PPAP submissions documentation from suppliers to ensure they meet both customer and Siemens requirements.
- Oversee document control & storage (Teamcenter)
- Manage PPAP Handbook
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of PPAP submissions and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements and internal quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain Control Plans, FMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams, and Other required documentation.
Supplier Coordination:
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure they understand PPAP requirements and timelines.
- Provide guidance and support to suppliers during the PPAP submission process.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance with the PPAP and quality standards.
- Participate in Component reviews.
Quality Assurance:
- Perform quality inspections and validation tests on parts and components.
- Identify and address any quality issues or discrepancies in PPAP submissions.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
Customer Interaction:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding PPAP submissions and approvals.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns related to PPAP documentation and quality issues.
- Participate in customer meetings and audits as required.
- Escalate risk.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in the PPAP submission and approval process.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices related to PPAP and quality assurance.
Working Conditions:
- Home Office, Office and manufacturing locations and environment.
- Occasional travel 35% may be required to visit suppliers and Siemens facilities.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 plus years’ experience in quality control, engineering and/or management.
- Ability to interpret industry standards (ISO, ASME, ASTM, ANSI)
- Knowledge of the integrated Management System (IMS) standards (ISO9001, 14001, 45001)
- Proficient in quality management systems and tools (e.g., Control Plans, APQP, FMEA, SPC).
- Expertise with GD&T
- Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a PPAP coordination role or similar quality assurance position.
- Experience in the electrical, automotive, aerospace or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of PPAP requirements and procedures
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Experience with metrology application.
- Proven expertise with root cause and corrective action techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- The pay range for this position is $87,000 – $149,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
