Duties:
- To support administration of the Business Development process in line with SHCG processes
- To appropriately support Business Development Team with DAS administration to ensure both new starts and transfers are administered compliantly and timely in accordance with agreed procedures and processes
- To support administration of placement advertising within DAS in collaboration with the Lead Recruiter and Business Partners across the group
- To action requests for information and data swiftly, working with internal stakeholders where necessary to obtain an accurate picture.
- To act in a professional manner when answering telephone enquiries from internal and external customers.
- To understand the wider employer offer with regard to Apprenticeships, Higher Education and Adult Education in order to provide correct frontline IAG to employers as appropriate
- To utilise agreed systems and processes to accurately monitor and track all Apprentices on programme
- Actively participate in team meetings when requested, ensuring actions are completed timely
- To provide support in resolving D locks upon request from Compliance team, monitoring those in scope and flagging issues as they arise appropriately
- To utilise and, where agreed, update tracking documentation with regards to enrolments, transfers and funding
- To conduct administrative tasks across the wider business plus team to navigate busy periods and holiday cover across as deemed appropriate by your line manager
- Utilise social media in line with group policies and agreed KPIs to market our offer by sharing appropriate messaging, success stories and opportunities
- Actively participate in college group 1:1 and appraisal process, undertaking any required CPD as agreed with your manager
- Consistently meet or exceed employer engagement targets
- Consistently meet or exceed conversion targets for learner progression
- Actively participate in team / departmental activity, sharing lessons learned and acting on these to ensure continual improvement of the employer / learner experience
- Actively encourage feedback from employers and learners in line with procedures and targets, ensuring lessons learned are shared and acted upon as appropriate in a timely fashion
Skills/Experience:
- To demonstrate well-developed IT skills, including word-processing and digital literacy. Teaching/tutoring/mentoring experience with apprentices, part time or full time learners.
- To demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with staff, students and visitors, in person and over the phone. Well organised with excellent communication skills.
- To demonstrate previous experience of working within in a customer service environment
Qualifications:
- To provide evidence of an education to at least 4 GCSE standard or equivalent including English and Maths at grade C or above.
- Customer Service qualifications

- To handle multiple enquiries via telephone, email and in person and work flexibly
- To be well organised, and be able to keep accurate records
- To be sensitive to the needs of visitors, staff and students at Fareham College and be able to communicate with them effectively.
