Circa £25,000 – £30,000 (Dependent on Experience)Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultancy Clark Wood are working with an established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants in the North East who are looking to add an Accounts Technician to their friendly and professional team in Bishop Auckland.As an Accounts Technician / Accounts Senior your role will be varied but will predominantly consist of providing Accounting and Tax compliance services to a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. The workload will include the preparation of both statutory and management accounts as well as tax compliance.This established firm pride themselves on looking after and developing their staff, offering great flexibility and a supportive, team centred working environment.The ideal candidate may be AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience and will have excellent experience of working within practice. Strong experience of using online accounting software such as Xero or Quickbooks would be beneficial.This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful person to undertake a varied role within a supportive and friendly team in a progressive and forward-thinking firm in Bishop Auckland.Duties & Responsibilities:The role will predominantly involve preparing statutory accounts, management accounts and corporation tax computations and returns
Experience of preparation of incorporated and unincorporated accounts in an accountancy practice using an accounting software package
Assisting more junior members of the team as requiredSkills:AAT Qualified or QBE (ACCA / ACA students will also be considered)
Experience of undertaking a varied practice role
