Administrative Assistant (Customer Engagement)Location: Endurance House, Histon, Cambridge, CB24 9ZRPart-Time/Permanent21 hours per week – working pattern to be agreed with successful candidateSalary: £24,843.00 FTE pa which equates to £14,905.80 pa for 21 hpwFlexi-time SchemeThis is an exciting newly created part-time post, which will provide essential administrative support for CHS’s customer engagement work, at a time when we are strengthening the ways customers can influence CHS services.What you’ll do

  • Make initial contact with customers who express an interest in being involved with CHS.
  • Update Tenant Engagement Planner with timescales over the year.
  • Assist with gathering information required for newsletters, annual reports, social media, the website and scrutiny projects.
  • Assist with the mail out of quarterly newsletters.
  • Enter paper surveys into the online survey system.
  • Arrange vouchers and a prize draw for customer rewards.
  • Keep customer training records and book training.
  • Administer neighbourhood grant applications and respond as necessary.
  • Support and participate in Tenant Committee and Panels by booking meeting spaces, sending invitations, circulating agendas, printing and posting documents, greeting customers and assisting at meetings.
  • Take minutes at some meetings.
  • Process customer expenses claims.

About you

  • Understanding of customer care and quality issues
  • Proven experience of administration, note taking and presenting information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident in communicating with customers and working in a small team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workloads with minimal supervision
