Job Description:Our client is looking for an Executive Assistant/Accounting Clerk.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurate recording and maintenance of financial and accounting records;
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable and monthly bank reconciliations, including errands to the bank when required;
  • Credit card reconciliation and expense reports;
  • Coordination of banking, wire and fund transfer instructions;
  • Recording and reconciling monthly property management reports and GST;
  • Annual corporate regulatory filings; AGM’s and financial reporting requirements;
  • Preparing year end packages to be submitted to accountants;

IT Support:

  • Diagnosing and resolving issues with computers, mobile devices and smart phones/tablets;
  • Maintain computer servers and networks;
  • Liaise with the company’s outside IT support for greater IT issues;

Reception & Administration:

  • Answering phone calls, disseminating mail, filing;
  • Managing office equipment (photocopiers, scanners) and supplies;
  • Managing deliveries, including pick-ups or drop-offs at depots when required;
  • Assisting with travel arrangements;
  • Greeting visitors and preparing refreshments during meetings;
  • Running errands for the family when required;

Requirements:Skillset:

  • Minimum 5 Years Recent Experience in Bookkeeping and Administration
  • Must be proficient with Quickbooks, Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe

  • Must enjoy working in a quiet, small office environment;
  • Knowledge of real estate, property management, and financial services;
  • MUST LOVE DOGS!
