You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, building easy to use, flexible, and robust reporting, analytics and planning solutions. You will develop, test and support the implementation of these cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. You’ll lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.How you’ll succeedDesign and development – Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Design the application’s technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.Strategic planning – Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals. Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.Leadership skills – Act as a development team lead and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet objectives.Who you areYou can demonstrate experience in: Developing, testing, and implementing business intelligence solutions for a Corporate Finance organization. Candidates will have 5+ years working experience with Oracle RDBMS, Hyperion Essbase/Planning and OAS development. It’s an asset if you have experience with SAC, SAP S4/HANA, Oracle APEX, Python, Java EE applications and workload automation / job scheduling tools.You embrace and advocate change.
