Position: Order Desk Coordinator
Location: Dorval (on-site)
Salary: Up to $30 per hour (37.5 hours)
Job Type: Contract with strong possibility of permanencyOur client, a renowned manufacturer based in Dorval, is seeking an Order Desk Coordinator to join their team!Your Responsibilities:
– Receive and review customer purchase orders through EDI and email, and accurately enter orders.
– Promptly process invoices upon receiving the bill of lading and provide internal support for order issues.
– Liaise with Planning, Production, and Sales teams regarding order lead times and shipping dates.
– Create new customer accounts, process credit applications, and maintain product codes in the ERP system.
– Communicate effectively with customers via phone and electronic channels, addressing order or pricing discrepancies, and regularly update customer-specific price lists.
– Participate in team meetings and training, develop and maintain an order management workflow, foster continuous improvement, and provide backup support during high-volume periods.Your qualifications:
– Proven experience in order entry or data entry roles.
– Bilingual with the ability to communicate effectively with customers outside the Quebec region.Your skills:– Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
