• Provide individualised support and tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
• Assist students in improving their academic performance and achieving their learning goals
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and support needs

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach to teaching

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
• Additional training or qualifications in SEN support is desirable

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience working as a tutor or teacher with students with SEN
• Demonstrated success in supporting students with diverse learning needs

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of different learning styles and teaching methods
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches to suit individual student requirements
• Proficient in using educational resources and technology to enhance learning

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time position with flexible hours
• Work may involve travel to students’ homes or educational institutions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
