Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join them on a full-time basis and provide support to the Director of Finance. If you have a strong foundation of accounting, including full cycle and month-end reporting and analysis, please apply today! The main responsibilities include:
- Provide AR/AP oversight
- Assist with budget, financial systems and controls
- Process bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and post investment account and capital asset depreciation journal entries
- Prepare and post prepayments, accruals and deferred revenue
- Prepare and analyze expense reports
- Act as a financial systems expert and provide support as needed
- Other duties as required

- Post-secondary education in accounting and/or finance
- CPA designation completed or in progress
- 3+ years full cycle accounting experience, including month-end reports and analysis
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and x-lookups
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Tech savvy
Definite Assets:
- Sage Intacct
- Previous experience with nonprofit/charity accounting
Compensation, Perks & Opportunities:
- $70,000 – $80,000 annual salary
