About usUCL’s central Business Partnering team provides strategically focused support to leadership teams across UCL. The team forges strong relationships with stakeholders to enable expert advice, critical challenge and timely decision support to enable the best financial performance. The team is responsible for building trusted relationships and providing professional financial advice to UCL stakeholders, including the Estates team.The UCL Estate comprises over 240 buildings, more than 6.5 million square feet of academic accommodation and around 4500 owned student bedrooms. The central London location, scale, variety and complexity of the estate are unparalleled in the sector.About the roleAs our Head of Finance – Estates you’ll be a primary point of strategic financial support for colleagues in the Estates department, acting as a trusted advisor on financial matters to the highest level. You’ll have direct line management of the Senior Finance Business Partner (Estates) and work alongside the Associate Director of Finance – Infrastructure Projects, to ensure a comprehensive and joined up level of support.This is an exceptional chance to play a vital role within UCL, bringing your influence to bear at an exciting and essential time for our Estates programme.A full job description is attached to this advert.About youTo do this job you’ll need to be a fully qualified Accountant with extensive business partnering experience.
