Location: Dublin City CentreSalary: €66,326The CompanyOur client, a prominent organization in the non-profit sector, is seeking a Head of Finance & Facilities on a permanent basis. This senior role is vital for overseeing financial, business, and facilities management to support sustainable growth and service delivery.The PositionAs Head of Finance & Facilities you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization. This role involves managing financial affairs, ensuring efficient administration, and maintaining facilities to the highest standards.This is a varied role, encompassing the following key areas:Finance & Administration:

  • Manage the company’s financial affairs in collaboration with senior management.
  • Organize and run the Finance Subcommittee, reporting financial matters to the Board.
  • Monitor and update finance and procurement policies.
  • Oversee payroll, procurement, audit, revenue returns, and data protection.
  • Prepare and present annual budgets.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage annual plans, objectives, budgets, and expenditures for facilities.

Facilities Management:

  • Oversee maintenance and repairs, ensuring a safe environment for clients and staff.
  • Manage maintenance of organisation premises and vehicles.
  • Coordinate safety inspections and supervise facilities staff and contractors.
  • Maintain asset registers and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Leadership & Resource Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant agencies in various sectors.
  • Represent the organization on external bodies as needed.
  • Promote a culture of motivation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Support the organization’s values and policies to achieve its mission.
  • Support risk assessment processes and maintain risk registers.
  • Promote compliance with the organization’s quality management system.

The Person:Ideally you will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant essential (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent), with several years relevant financial management experience in the NGO sector
  • Demonstrable staff management experience.
  • Strong IT skills
  • H&S legislation knowledge preferred

A strong commitment to the organisations vision and ethos is essential.
