About the Opportunity
- Working closely with borrowers with payment arrangement for missed payments
- Processing NSF payments and following up on delinquencies to facilitate timely resolution
- Managing payment date changes and ensuring accurate processing
- Generating reports on files in arrears, providing insights and recommendations
- Analyzing client history (especially arrears) to recommend mortgage renewals
- Handling CRA information requests and managing bankruptcy or consumer proposals
- Ensuring compliance with property tax notices and coordinating foreclosure procedures
- Filing and recording all insurance documents received.
- Sending cancellation letters for insurance as required.
- Working within the Client Relations team on various projects, as assigned
- General administrative duties such as data entry, document production, and learning across other mortgage servicing roles
- All while ensuring regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering standards are met
About You
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent time management skills
- Excellent ability to communicate with a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Exceptionally organized with a great ability to multitask
- Possess a high level of initiative to produce accurate work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Self-motivated and disciplined
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Mortgage Agent License in AB, BC, or ON is an asset
- 2+ years of previous mortgage experience
