Legal Personal AssistantLocation: ManchesterRole: 12 Month FTCAre you an experienced Legal PA looking for a new challenge? This could be the perfect opportunity for you!GRG are pleased to be supporting a leading law firm that provides excellent legal services to clients across the UK.The Role:
- Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the legal team and ensuring that all work is completed accurately and efficiently
- Preparing legal documentation, including contracts, agreements, and court documents
- Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and organising meetings for the legal team
- Liaising with clients and other stakeholders to ensure that all queries are dealt with promptly and professionally
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all legal matters
- Business development: working with the team to look after and develop client relationships
- Collation and managing financial reports and other finance data from the firm’s financial system
- Preparation of expense claims
- Updating Interaction with client contact details
About You
- Previous PA experience in a similar role within legal, ideally with IP/Commercial/litigation/Dispute Resolution or similar practice area experience
- Experience of billing and organising litigation files
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision and to a high standard
- Knowledge of billing/time recording systems desirable
- Knowledge of e-filing desirable
- Attention to detail, especially when working with correspondence and documentation
- Flexible with the ability to adapt to change, new practices and cope under pressure
- The ability to suggest new and better ways of working and implement new processes
- Excellent presentation skills reflected in their work
- A methodical and organised approach with keen attention paid to every detail
- Good organisational skills to ensure that tasks are effectively scheduled within working time available, and that urgent work is completed and returned within the specified timescales
- Friendly and helpful approach to dealing with queries
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Ability to prioritise and to work under pressure
- Good listening skills and ability to respond to feedback
- Ability to be pro-active and deliver a quality service to both internal and external clients
Job Offer

- 12 Month FTC
- Up to £34,000 BOE
