The Thomson Reuters Foundation is recruiting a skilled and dynamic Programme Coordinator to support the delivery and expansion of our award-winning TrustLaw programme. Joining a global team, the Programme Coordinator will coordinate the day-to-day running of the TrustLaw service and ensure strong service standards. This is a client-facing role, supporting our membership (non-profit, social enterprise, legal members, and other beneficiaries, as appropriate) to engage with the TrustLaw service, and providing comprehensive administrative support to the TrustLaw team.is the global pro bono service of the Thomson Reuters Foundation. As the world’s leading pro bono legal service, TrustLaw helps high-impact NGOs and social enterprises, to grow, streamline their operations and navigate complex laws and regulations by connecting them with free legal assistance from the best law firms and corporate legal teams around the world. We also deliver groundbreaking legal research on key social and policy issues that our members use to support their advocacy and law reform efforts, and we deliver innovative capacity-building workshops on legal issues across the globe.Legal projects facilitated through TrustLaw range from everyday operational and commercial matters – such as corporate structuring, intellectual property, non-profit governance or employment advice – to large-scale cross-border legal research projects. Research projects are based on NGO and social enterprise priorities across social or policy issues ranging from freedom of expression and social innovation policy, to human trafficking and data and digital rights, with a growing number in Thomson Reuters Foundation’s focus areas.About the Role:As the Trustlaw Programme Coordinator you will:Coordinate all pro bono requests, from reviewing and screening for eligibility and complexity, liaising with clients to obtain further information, managing scoping calls with the TrustLaw team, cross-checking posted requests, and sending out weekly legal network-wide communications.Coordinate connections of legal providers to pro bono clients to ensure a smooth running of service, including liaising with firms on questions about offers, screening offers for eligibility criteria, supporting with in-house-law firm collaborative offers, connecting complex research projects with multiple legal teams and providing support to troubleshoot connection issues.Liaise regularly with all TrustLaw members including law firms, corporate counsel, NGOs, social enterprises and other beneficiaries, and field a range of queries about the TrustLaw service and offerings, and the TrustLaw portal, among others.Monitor and manage shared mailboxes, calendars, team filing systems, and phones.Monitor accounts and projects in Salesforce, keep records up to date, and report on metrics and the status of pro bono projects and connections.Coordinate quarterly reports, team guidance updates and support team on Salesforce dashboards, metrics, and reporting queries.Coordinate team meetings, global internal team events, and team inductions/system set-up.Coordinate financial reporting and administration for the TrustLaw team, liaising with the TRF Finance department.Support TrustLaw’s global team with a range of administrative tasks.Assist with other duties as required.About YouTo be the Trustlaw Programme Coordinator, you will likely have:A proactive, process-oriented individual with excellent client relationship skills and strong attention to detail.Strong experience in general administration and customer service.Experience with sophisticated databases, including Salesforce.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Fluent English is a must and additional languages would be preferred.A highly motivated self-starter, with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Experience working in the non-profit, development or legal sectors an advantage.How to applyThe deadline for applications is 23:59 BST on Tuesday, 23 July 2024.
