You will join a dedicated team who strive to continuously inspire our students and wider University community, deliver modern and innovative teaching and lead impactful research.The successful candidate should have the following:

  • Doctorate qualification or close to completion Professionally recognised coaching qualifications and relevant experience working or volunteering as a sport coach Experience of leading the development and delivery of sport coaching modules in higher education, including the use of authentic/real-world assessment approaches
  • Evidence of engagement in research activity and authorship of peer-reviewed publications Research supervision experience at undergraduate level Experience of hybrid delivery of learning and teaching Commitment to supporting an outstanding student experience

We are particularly keen to speak to candidates who have:

  • A qualification in teaching and learning in higher education and/or Advance HE Fellowship Expertise in sport performance and/or strength and conditioning Research supervision experience at postgraduate level
