Job Description:The Opportunity:The Estates Business Services Team provides a fully integrated range of professional support services to the Estates Department. The team is responsible for services including governance and policy; records, data and information management; administrative business support; communications, and IT and systems.The post holder will provide a high quality, efficient, flexible and professional business support to the Development Team within the Estates Department whilst providing individual support to the senior leadership team. The post holder will manage a small support team that offers a range of business services to the wider department, such as: administrative processes, updating information systems, managing records and databases, following financial processes and procedures and coordinating a variety of meetings.This is a hybrid position where the post holder can alternate time between both home and office. Colleagues are expected to work from the office a minimum of 2-3 days a week (in agreement with the line manager and in line with business needs.)This role is open ended (permanent) and full time (35 hours per week). Working hours are 9am-5pm from Monday to Friday.Your skills and attributes for success:
- Relevant PA and management support experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of team management and development
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- High level of perceptiveness and proactiveness, ability to handle unforeseen circumstances in a calm and professional manner
- Enthusiastic about defining requirements and implementing systems/solutions
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as a part of a wider team

It is an integrated centre of excellence responsible for implementing decisions related to the buildings, fabric and infrastructure of the University. It provides specialist advice to the University on strategic estates issues as well as its statutory obligations.
