As a Site Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The Site Manager is primarily responsible to the Technical Services Delivery Manager for the timely completion of the Engineering Services (ES) Operational and Tasked Service deliverables across a range of services, located at one of the key customer sites.Day-to-day, you’ll provide service delivery for all assigned Engineering Services at the designated location, as well as:
- Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each service are met at the designated location.
- Be responsible for the budget administration and onward reporting as to fiscal health of the services being provided for the designated location, reporting directly into the Technical Services Delivery Manager
- Be responsible for promoting and adhering to Babcock health and safety standards.
- Actively address any issues or challenges which may arise.
This role is full time and is based Ascension Island. Ascension, like other Overseas Territories and the Crown Territories is not part of the United Kingdom, however the United Kingdom is responsible for the defence, international relations, and internal security of the territory.Essential experience of the Site Manager:
- Must demonstrate adequate team leadership and management skills.
- Must possess evidence of initiating and implementing service enhancements and managing change.
- Must possess an adequate knowledge of and compliance with the Health and Safety policy and regulations consistent with the responsibilities of the post.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and Excel.
Qualifications for the Site Manager:
- Must possess a full UK Driving Licence.
- Must possess or be willing to gain a IOSH Managing Safely and where required NeBOSH.

- The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain EDV security clearance for this role.
