The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is detail oriented, well organized, and thrives in a highly collaborative work environment.What You’ll DoAssist with the progress and acceptability of all closing components and facilitate administrative tasks for the deal team to ensure timely closing of loan transactionsReview credit approval memorandum, prepare closing checklist, and assist in collection of deliverable items and receivables (e.g., liability insurance, flood insurance, asset listings, lease and franchise agreement review); circulating all information and escalating exceptions to the deal team to ensure anticipated funding dates are metAssist in obtaining appropriate supporting documents including title work, flood and OFAC searches, insurance, organizational documents, real estate collateral documentation and various due diligence items to verify compliance with loan approval and bank closing proceduresHandle day-to-day administrative tasks including opening retail and commercial accounts, assisting treasury management product partner, processing wires, pulling various retail reports, and assisting in coordination of internal and external participationsFocus on retail and commercial depository account opening, funding, maintenance and reportingProcess paper-based documentation, incoming/outgoing mail and marketing materialsOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrior banking experience with knowledge of account opening and/or commercial loan documentsProactive / confident communication skills (both verbal and written) required to interact with clients, outside vendors, and internal stakeholdersProficient in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint along with the ability to pick up on new systems quicklyHigh level of organization and time-management with keen attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly to changes in priorities and tasksBenefitsMedical Insurance • Dental • Vision • Life insurance • Accidental death and dismemberment • Short-term and long-term Disability Insurance • Parental Leave • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • Traditional and Roth 401(k) with company match • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) • Employee Stock Purchase Plan at 5% discount • Critical Illness Insurance • Accident Insurance • Transportation and Commuting Benefits • Banking Benefits • Pet Insurance#LI-HYBRID#LI-AC1From our first day in business, Wintrust has been proud to serve a variety of unique communities and people from all walks of life.
