Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The successful candidate will enjoy being hands-on and must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the main responsibilities include:

• Record and process financial transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Manage accounts payable process
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Conduct account analysis and generate financial reports
• Collaborate with team members to ensure financial compliance

• Post-secondary education in finance and / or accounting preferred
• Minimum 4+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Good Excel skills
• Previous experience with QuickBooks considered an asset
