Posted On: Jul 17, 2024Senior AccountantOur client in Calgary is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This position will report directly to the CFO and will be an important part of the F&A team, with access to all aspects of the financial and accounting processes.Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Preparation of internal monthly financial reporting package.
• Year end financial statement preparation for numerous entities.
• Project cost tracking.
• Budget to actual analysis.
• Managing treasury function.
• Responsible for preparing and submitting monthly bank draws.
• Account reconciliation.
• GST return preparation and filings and various other tax filings.

Your strengths include:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills, with high proficiency with other Microsoft office products.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet a variety of deliverables.
• Previous experience in home building and/or construction industry is highly preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience.
