- Ownership of customer contact details set up and maintenance on the system to ensure accurate delivery of invoicing and correspondence
- Collaborating with the business and credit control to ensure billing accuracy in line with contractual arrangements to reduce subsequent queries and amendments that may delay collection
- Authoring reports to measure success of the AR team and contributing to Board level reporting
- Perform write offs, invoice amendments, credit notes where applicable
- Seeking improvements to processes and leveraging technology (inc AI) to automate
- Take ownership of internal and external queries effectively and efficiently
What are we looking for? π
- Demonstrable General Accounts Receivable/Invoicing experience
- Experience in multicurrency invoices and non-UK VAT knowledge
- Knowledge of AR/Accounting software (NetSuite is desirable)
- Experience in stakeholder management (internal and external)
- Commercial awareness & communication skills – enabling meaningful interactions, navigating sensitive situations, resolving conflicts, and fostering connections both internally and externally across various stakeholder groups.
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel (including lookups and pivot tables).
- Professional with a positive outlook and “can do” attitude
- Used to working with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a high growth environment and in a rapidly changing organisation.
