All applicants will be considered for both opportunities:(1) Electronic Product Training Specialist – focused on Subsite electronic operator training.(1) Service Product Training Specialist – focused on training the dealers and network technicians on how to repair and use the equipment.The Product Training Specialist designs, develops, and evaluates curriculum and learning solutions for all aspects of selling Ditch Witch and/or Subsite equipment, parts, service and systems. This training is deliverable to Ditch Witch Factory personnel, dealership, and end user customers.What Will You Do?In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate learning solutions for all aspects of the Ditch Sales Division. This includes: Research and developing appropriate training curriculum, materials, handouts and other resources. Obtain required learning resources. Making presentations before groups of Ditch Witch factory, dealership and customer groups. Measuring the effectiveness of training material. Development of training material and IT-integrated training solutions.Present and coordinate delivery of training to Ditch Witch factory and dealership personnel.Demonstrate Ditch Witch equipment. This includes choosing suitable demonstration sites, setting up equipment, operating equipment, locating existing utilities and explaining the features and benefits.Build and maintain positive, productive business relationships with all customers including Ditch witch factory divisions, Ditch Witch dealerships personnel and end-user customers of Ditch Witch products and services.Make presentations to groups of people. This includes gathering, organizing and effectively communicating technical information about technical systems.Conduct multiple training seminars and provide expertise to others while teaching Ditch Witch product and systems.Exhibit organizational skills, leadership, technical knowledge and safety.Job Title:At the time of a job offer, the Product Training Specialist job title will be determined based on the following criteria: Candidate’s academic background, combined with:Product Training Specialist I: 1-3 years of equivalent experience in a related field.Product Training Specialist II: 2-4 years or equivalent experience in a related field.Product Training Specialist III: 3-5+ years or equivalent experience in a related field.What Do You Need?To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:1+ year(s) of experience in the training field or equivalent required; Ditch Witch and/or Subsite Electronics preferred.A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, education and or related field, is preferred but not required.Have relevant knowledge and experience with the Ditch Witch dealership network and consistently exhibit high levels of competency with regard to Ditch Witch/Subsite products. Demonstrate appropriate knowledge and skill in demonstrating and selling Ditch Witch/Subsite products.A high-level of instructor-led traits and skills, including high-levels of customer service, empathy, and people skills. Experience developing multiple levels of learning material and incorporating this into multiple mediums for delivery of this material. Have appropriate training and experience and ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills. This includes the ability to make effective group presentations.Upon training, be able to operate and effectively demonstrate heavy construction equipment. This includes work in “the field” or in “dynamic/active” construction site conditions.Have appropriate correspondence, record keeping, and computer/ information Technology and enterprising skill sets.Ability to attain and maintain a passport, a current vehicle operator’s license; and prepare to acquire and maintain a CDL.Flexible schedule, with availability for overtime as needed. 20% travel anticipated, including various locations in the USA, as well as possible travel to Barcelona Spain.Sponsorship: This opportunity is NOT eligible for VISA Immigration Sponsorship, now or in the future.What Can We Give You?At Ditch Witch, we are always working to make sure our employees know just how valued they are.
