Teaching Assistant.Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of fantastic primary schools based in Islington, Hackney and Waltham Forest who are always on the look out for experienced Teaching Assistants to work on a part time/full time basis. This may be to cover sickness, staff absence, maternity cover and staff retirements. The main role of a TA is to support the class teacher throughout the school day, this would include but may not be limited to- ensuring the resources are set up for pupils, classroom/behaviour management, pupil support (1:1 or small groups) and more. We have positions ranging from 3-5 days per week, and on-the-day ADHOC work available.The ideal TA:– Experience working in a classroom environment– Level 2 TA qualifications (desired not essential)– Experience working with SEN– Strong behaviour management skills-Kind,caring personality-between 3-5 days of availability per weekIn ordered to be considered for this role you must:– Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel– UK address and right to work– 3-5 days of availability per week– Proactive and energetic natureIf you are an experienced TA looking for a new role or looking for a new career in education we would love to hear from you!All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
