The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics invites applicants for a tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor. The appointment is scheduled to begin August 15, 2025.Candidates must have earned a doctorate in Information Systems/ Business Analytics from an AACSB-accredited program/college, or a closely related discipline by August 15, 2025. All candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to scholarly research and excellence in teaching. Candidates with research and teaching interests in all areas of Information Systems and Business Analytics will be considered. The candidate is expected to teach core courses in Information Systems and Business Analytics, and may be asked to teach electives in their area of specialization, such as (but not limited to) Machine Learning, Data Visualization, and Cybersecurity.We seek applicants who share our commitment to our mission, principles, and the Sustainable Development Goals, including diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, the department teaches a number of graduate courses in our Masters in Business Analytics program and various graduate programs, including the newly launched Doctoral in Business Administration (DBA). Consistent with our mission, LMU has a strong commitment to educational excellence. In recognition of this commitment, classes at LMU are rarely larger than 29 students in size and are usually smaller.
