Job Description:Grade UE04: £24,533.00 – £27,979.00 Per Annum.CAHSS / Academic & Student Administration / College Office.Open Ended Contract – Permanent.Full Time – 35 Hours Per Week.The Opportunity:We are looking for a professional, customer-focused, pro-active and efficient administrative assistant to play a key role in the supporting the administration and logistics for a wide range of learning and teaching-related operations, projects and staff in the College office.You will provide administrative support for academic quality assurance and degree programme governance for all taught and research provision in the college. You will be a first point of contact for a range of (primarily internal) inquiries and support the strategic activity of the College Deans and Academic and Student Administration leadership through logistical, diary and event/ committee support.This varied role offers the opportunity to develop insight and experience into key operations, policies, projects and systems that underpin the whole student and academic lifecycle. You will work with, and benefit from, a network of a wide range of staff and departments across the college and university.This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.Your skills and attributes for success:
- A customer focused attitude with proven experience of delivering an excellent and friendly customer service and commitment to continuous service improvement;
- Ability to juggle a variety of tasks and prioritise work to meet deadlines;
- Proven eye for detail and accuracy in all written work;
- Proficiency in digital tools including Outlook, Excel and SharePoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable working with colleagues at various levels of seniority
