Job description
– Perform daily accounting operations such as journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, government
bank reconciliations, government remittances, etc.
– Prepare monthly reports for customers, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, trial balances, etc.
– Prepare and enter journal entries.
– Process supplier invoices.
– Prepare and submit tax returns and related payments.
– Prepare cash disbursements, including checks and wire transfers.
– Respond to requests from head office, other departments, customers and suppliers.
– Invoice customers and apply payments to their accounts.
– Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
– Prepare reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
– Assist the municipal accountant.
– Support Assistant Controller and General Manager in budget preparation.
– Assist with internal and external audits.
