DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our accounting team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving business decisions by analyzing and interpreting complex financial data. Your ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations will be key in supporting our clients’ financial success.Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization
- Generate ad-hoc reports and provide data-driven insights to support management decision-making
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity within accounting systems
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in the accounting industry
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts
- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and forecasting methodologies
Expected salary
£20 – 25 per hour
