Research Assistants are normally students, in a University of Winnipeg undergraduate program, employed to assist with tasks related to research. Work is performed within defined guidelines and under supervision of a more senior researcher or faculty member.Position Overview:A research assistant plays a vital role in supporting research activities by assisting with various tasks such as literature reviews, developing methodology, conducting simulations using R, and preparing manuscripts. These tasks are performed within defined guidelines and under supervision of faculty member.Duties:
- Prepare literature reviews.
- Assist with R programming duties.
- Prepare manuscripts.
- Assist with grant application duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experienced with the R programming language.
- Must have research experience in survival analysis.
- Possess solid knowledge in analyzing and modeling survival data.
Condition(s) of Employment:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
