Join our team as we build together technologies to create safe and efficient next generation electrical circuit protection, intelligent energy source selection, intuitive power distribution, control, and monitoring.We are seeking a PLM Project Manager for Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products in North America, including Residential, Circuit Protection, Controls, and Electrical Apparatus products. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) projects from Requirements Specification through Phase-out, including coordination and schedule management between Product Management, R&D, Operations, Logistics, Quality, Procurement, Master Data, Finance and others.This is an excellent role for an experienced project management professional in the electrical industry, or for an individual with an engineering, operations or product management background that has a strong aptitude and desire for product development project management responsibilities. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated, possess strong communication and teamwork skills, and have experience in the electrical industry. Additionally, the candidate incorporates Scaled Agile Development practices and planning into PLM project management.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:The overall responsibility of this position is to manage projects from inception to completion within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process. This includes managing timelines and project deliverables as defined in PLM. The successful candidate will identify deliverables and schedules and hold stakeholders accountable to those dates. These projects are highly visible within the Business Unit, and this role is the effective project owner, creating excellent opportunities for executive exposure and interaction. Although this role reports into the Strategy & Product Management team, this is a cross-functional role that will involve regular coordination with many departments including but not limited to Product Management, R&D, Operations, Logistics, Quality, Procurement, Master Data, Finance and others. Estimated travel in this role is approximately 25%.
- Navigation of the PLM process from PM100 to PM500 including launch and phase-out.
- Developing and maintaining project schedule, timeline, stakeholder ownership.
- Demonstrating ownership of timeline commitments.
- Facilitates team meetings, review and quality gates (such as tollgates, post launch activities)
- Documents outcomes, actions, task owners with due dates.
- Coordinates cross functionality with all responsible in PLM process.
- Works closely with product manager and market launch managers on marketing activities (pre and post launch).
- Create and manage approval workflows.
- Initiate and facilitate any out-of-bounds reviews.
- This person would won overall project communication of projects they own and hold periodic reviews with relevant stakeholder and management teams.
- Facilitate project pipeline review and assist PM/ R&D management on prioritization.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Operation, Supply Chain or Business
- 10+ years of experience in professional work environment.
- 5+ years with the following:
- Product management, operations, R&D or logistics experience preferably with electrical or electromechanical products.
- Proven experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) or general project management.
- Strong technical aptitude – ability to interpret, author and edit technical product specifications and other documents.
- Professional communication – verbal / non-verbal and technical / non-technical.
- Strong data analysis, problem solving, and presentation skills.
- Multitask and management of diverse stakeholders and activities per schedule.
- Scaled Agile Development and Planning
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (~20%)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with electrical distribution industry, specifically Residential, Circuit Protection, Controls or Electrical Apparatus products.
- Experience with SAP and Web Focus (formerly Business Objects) or Tableau.
- Experience managing a team of technical or marketing staff
- Advanced experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with Siemens COMPAS tool and Jira Tool
- Excellent learning orientation

- The pay range for this position is $88,300-151,400 plus incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
