– Manage AP with production managers
– Prepare and send sales invoices for distribution business
– Manage monthly payroll for permanent and production staff
– Manage year end audit process
– Managing the month end process and ensuring the required deadlines are met in the most timely and efficient manner.
– Prepare monthly management accounts; track and refine the process.
– Prepare and post all month end journals
– Complete and file quarterly VAT returns
– Involved in annual budgeting process
– Preparation, review and publishing the monthly and quarterly reporting packs to the parent company (Fremantle)
– Being the main point of contact for the external and internal audit teams at year end
– Driving consistency in policy and processes across the businessQualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant preferably with experience of working within a finance function in a creative environment (preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a track record of experience within this type of role).
– Strong financial accounting skills particularly in relation to income recognition.
– Strong excel skills to include VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, index and match formulas
– Initiative and the ability to drive tasks and projects through to completion
– Solution orientated, proactive and able to take ownership and work on own initiative
– Detail oriented but always with an eye on the big picture
– Ability to manage and mentor a junior staff member
– Outgoing, driven and enthusiastic individual, with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
– Recently qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA
– Experience using Sage X3 and SAP a plusThis summarises the main key responsibilities of your role.
