Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?
As the Project Coordinator and Business Analyst, you support and lead strategic relationships with teams across our RBC Innovation Hubs in Halifax and Montreal (the Hub(s)). In this role, you will coordinate local partnerships, programming and planning through execution of flagship events. You will aim to enhance internal employee engagement, build our brand in key technology sectors and build out our future talent pipeline.What will you do?
- Day-to-day support as assigned to the various TCOO initiatives including:
- organizational change management planning, documentation and execution
- communication planning and execution including the creation and management of job aids across multiple projects
- coordination of employee opinion survey action plans
- participation in and coordination of key community events and RBC fundraising initiatives
- coordination of rewards and recognition
- other administrative support as required in both Halifax and Montreal
- Project coordination support on assigned projects including in Halifax and Montreal:
- project overview and plan development
- meeting scheduling and comprehensive minute taking
- follow up on tasks and driving task completion across teams
- issue and risk log management
- project documentation leveraging Project Management leading practices
- Data analysis on assigned projects including:
- use of internal data systems and interpret data from various sources in different formats
- building excel data sheets to discover opportunities, draw conclusions, and support decision-making across the Hubs
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have:
- Capability to manage multiple priorities across a number of assignments and prioritize effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills along with highly developed communication skills both verbal and written
- Motivated, self-starter with a passion to work in a dynamic business environment
- Creative and analytical thinker – a “disruptor” – motivated by change
- Able to manage time effectively and communicate capacity challenges/solutions
- Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Openness to receiving and acting on feedback
Nice-to-have:
- Bilingual written and verbal skills in English and French
- Motivated and analytical, with strong achievement orientation and attention to detail
- Project management experience and skills
