Working with peers and colleagues around the world, these efforts are underpinned by our shared commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.We ensure that our global engagement strategy is grounded in our SDG framework and that our work reflects our values of mutuality, equity and innovation.We will leverage our experience, approach and connections to help address humanity’s most complex problems and questions.About the RoleThe Manager, GE will have responsibility for SFU’s relationship with the Aga Khan Development Network, including the management of the SFU activities related to AKU’s Arusha Climate and Environment Research Centre. The Manager will also have responsibility for advancing SFU’s relationships in Eastern Africa.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Communication or a relevant discipline and five years of related experience, including experience in international partnership management and supporting the delivery of partner-driven initiatives in a multi-stakeholder environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Excellent knowledge of partnership strategies, tools and tactics and best practices in global engagement.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent decision-making, organizational, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholder.
