In today’s healthcare market, we’re in an enviably strong position.As Radiographer working in MRI, you will be part of a specialised team providing a varied case mix of MRI examinations. Our Consultant referral base covers a wide range of Neurological and MSK imaging as well as more specialist scanning of breasts , multiparametric prostate , liver, small bowel enterography, gynaecological studies and angiography using our widebore Philips Ingenia.Both our MRI and general x-ray service run from 8-8 Monday to Friday and you’ll have the opportunity to work with our brand new digital x-ray equipment in theatres, fluoroscopy and the general department.As a Senior Radiographer you will:Ensure compliance with clinical governance by conducting regular QA, audits and participate in the training of rotational staff.Be able to liaise effectively with the radiology team, including radiologists and the wider hospital team we work with.Be willing to learn and help out with duties in the main department when the need arises. As a small team, it is important that we work as one.Take part in administrative duties including using transfer and downloading of images.To succeed as a Senior MRI/general Radiographer you will need:BSc( Hons)/DCR Diagnostic RadiographyHave excellent knowledge of MRI Safety and IRMERFully competent to run MRI lists without direct guidance.HCPC RegistrationCollege of Radiographers IV cannulation certificate or equivalentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHave a positive, can-do attitudeNuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital.The Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital are recognised for their friendly atmosphere, clinical expertise, and high standards of care.Our purpose-built hospital has been established since 1968.
