Position: Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Stockport and Tameside Salary: £95-£105 daily depending on prior experience Axcis Education is looking for committed candidates who are keen on providing outstanding support and education for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The schools Axcis works in partnership with are looking to offer inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Key Responsibilities: • Assist students with SEND in both academic and social contexts. • Help implement and follow individualized education plans (IEPs). • Support teachers in creating engaging and accessible lessons. • Maintain a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere. • Foster student independence and enhance social skills. • Work closely with colleagues, therapists, and parents. • Track and communicate student progress. Qualifications: • Recent graduate with a degree in a relevant field. • Basic knowledge of SEND is required; prior experience with SEND students is advantageous but not essential. • Eagerness to learn and grow in the role. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Compassion, patience, and a commitment to supporting all students.
