This position is ideal for an experienced key stage 1 teacher who can cover long-term roles starting this September within a primary school in South-end.Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified teaching status) is essential.
  • Relevant qualifications (PGCE or similar).
  • An up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one.
  • A prior working Knowledge of the UK primary national curriculum (KS1 & KS2).
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
  • High expectations of pupil’s achievements, attainment and behaviour.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lesson plans in an engaging way by using a variety of teaching approaches to effectively engage students in their learning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • An enthusiasm to embrace and enhance the creative curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the overall well-being of students.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated on educational trends.
