Job Description:College/School/Department: College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, School of Literatures, Languages & Cultures, Student & Academic Services.Contract: Open Ended, Full-time 1.0 FTE (35 hours per week).Salary Grade: UE05Salary: £27,979 – £32,332 pro rata per annum.Number of Posts: 1We are looking for applicants for a Planning & Support Senior Administrator to join our Student & Academic Services Team in the School of Literatures, Languages & Cultures.The Opportunity:Join our dynamic administrative team as a Planning and Support Senior Administrator. In this proactive role, you will ensure the smooth delivery of our diverse educational portfolio by supporting planning and projects across a wide range of subject areas. You will work closely with other Senior Administrators to ensure a consistent and exceptional service is delivered to students and staff. Planning for curriculum delivery up to two years in advance, this position requires excellent communication, data literacy, critical evaluation, and time-management skills. - Minimum of two years’ administrative experience, preferably in an HE environment (Desirable).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel),
- Strong communication skills
- Organisation and time management skills to plan and organise activities and events.
- Competent written and oral communication skills.
- Competent numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
- Flexibility and positive attitude to work.
