We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Trauma, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.Key Responsibilities: * Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons for a mixed-age group of primary students with ASD, ADHD, Trauma, and SEMH needs.

  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and academic development of each child.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse needs.
  • Utilise effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and address challenging behaviours.
  • Provide regular feedback to parents and collaborate with them to support the child’s learning and well-being.
  • Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and interventions in the field of special education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience working with primary students with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD, Trauma, and SEMH.
  • Strong understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a commitment to working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the development of children with diverse needs.
